Postdoctoral Researcher for DFG Project Edition and Material Investigation of the Cambridge Codex T-S 10 K 22

We seek a researcher with expertise in Jewish literature of the Middle Ages and (late) antiquity. Their primary task will be the cataloguing of Hebrew and Aramaic sources of the Yiddish texts from the Cambridge Codex ( Bible, Midrash, Piyyutim, Talmud). The researcher will co-author the edition, including commentaries, and contribute to parts of the accompanying collective monograph.

Required qualifications:

• Ph D in ( Medieval) Jewish Studies or a related field
  
• Excellent knowledge of Hebrew
